In my opinion i believe that genetic screening should be mandatory as a job application process because, Employers can be aware of future employees with hereditary conditions which could be work toxins. Treatment can be provided for individuals who have been diagnosed to have some abnormality inherited to them. if they can be prevented or treated it will stop future generations from inheriting damaging recessive genes. Their are negative factors such as invading workers privacy and the cost can be expensive to employers and treatment can be expensive to job applicants. But some of these factors are ethical. Genetic counseling is provided to give out more information to those who are uncertain about genetic screening, this can be used as a future step to educate and aware more individuals on genetic screening and how it can benefit many people in today’s world. with the new things being discovered and with new technology being introduced it can make the cost of genetic screening cheaper and it can benefit many individuals.

Genetic screening is used to look at a Inherited trait which causes problems in the human body.
This can help find abnormalities that certain genes may carry such as hemophilia, cystic fibrosis
and Huntington disease. Employers would be notified of this and doctors who will assist with treatment. Their genetic information will be kept private.

Genetic Screening is used for all sorts of occasions such as screening the fetus or infants. Using
genetic screening in pre-employment testing is useful for employers to get the best employees and
it helps identify individuals who are effected
